¾ cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup sweetened condensed milk

1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

⅛ teaspoon kosher salt



Put a 1-pint wide-mouth Mason jar in the freezer for about 5 minutes to get it cold.

Fill the cold jar with the cream, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt. Using a single beater on an electric hand mixer, beat for 2 to 3 minutes, gradually raising the speed from low to high until the mixture is thick enough to resemble a soft serve. Leave at least 1/2 inch of headspace when adding mix-ins with a long-handled spoon. For around 4 hours, seal the jar and place it in the freezer to harden.
