1 cup white sugar

Three large eggs

1 (14-ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk

1 (12 fluid ounces) can evaporate milk

One tablespoon of vanilla extract



The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan, simmer the sugar until it dissolves and turns golden. Pour heated syrup into a 9-inch round glass baking dish with care, turning the dish to coat the bottom and edges evenly, and then set the plate aside.

In a large basin, beat the eggs. Beat in the condensed, evaporated, and vanilla after adding them. Fill the baking dish with the egg mixture and cover with foil.

Bake for one hour in a preheated oven. Allow it to cool.

To serve, carefully turn the flan onto a serving plate with a rim and drizzle the caramel sauce.
